A thriving arts community brings to town the Summer Pops Concert, Shakespeare in the Park and the Virtu Art Festival featuring over 150 artists. Wilcox Park, located in Westerly’s center, is an eighteen acres park with a garden for the visually impaired and handicapped. The Westerly Center for the arts in conjonction with the Chorus of Westerly offer a variety of highly acclaimed productions throughout the year.

Misquamicut beach is a family oriented, recreational area which includes a water slide and many other outdoor activities for all ages.
Its beautiful sandy beaches stretch for miles where you can always find a spot to put down your towel and go for a swim. Take a drive along the coast and admire Westerly sparkling seashore with its old and new impressive summer residences overlooking the water.
